Thiess required relocatable solar lighting for the temporary car park and path way for construction workers to build the Goodna Sewerage Treatment Plant.
Eleven stand alone light poles were used in total, sitting on specifically designed precast concrete blocks.
These blocks are able to be moved via forklift or crane without having to take down the light pole, providing immense flexibility as the lights can be moved as the site progresses. The lights are only required to run 6 hours after dusk, allowing an economical sized solar system to run these lights.
Five Beta LEDway® 30 Type II Medium light fittings were used for the pathway lights, and six LEDway® 30 Type IV were utilised for the car park.
