Overview
Bluescope Steel, with large operations in Australia, New Zealand and North America, has produced much of the flat steel used in Australia for over 100 years. At their Port Kembla site, relocatable lighting for their unloading and hardstand areas was required. Orca Solar Lighting® provided 15 Vertex® solar street lights on engineered precast concrete blocks complete with pick up points for ease of relocation around the site.
The Vertex® solar lighting system ran Cree LEDway light fittings at 37w with 100% illumination all night capabilities and 56 hours or battery back-up, mounted on 2.25 tonne concrete blocks.
