Melbourne – Fulton Hogan – for Victorian Government

Fulton Hogan is building the Craigieburn Road Upgrade in Melbourne’s North, is  part of the broader Suburban Roads Upgrade – South Eastern and Northern Roads project. The project is jointly funded with the Australian Government committing $1.14 billion and the Victorian government committing $2.27 billion.

Fulton Hogan deployed 15 x  Vertex® temporary road lighting systems on the relocatable precast concrete blocks, enabling the light poles to be moved around site as the construction progresses. These impressively large Vertex® solar lighting systems will run the 100w RoadLED light fixture reliably at constant illumination all night with four full nights battery back-up, allowing for the longest Melbourne winter 15 hour long nights.
