Overview
The coastal pathways meanders through the native bush of Gap Park, then continuing through open parkland of Signal Hill Reserve, Lighthouse Reserve, past the historic Macquarie Lighthouse, and Christison Park, along the majestic coastline from Watson’s Bay, Sydney heading south.
This 1.8km long pathway is extremely popular, The Gap at the North attracts millions of international visitors a year, and the Southern parks are frequented by locals enjoying walks through this dog friendly coastal path network, accessing outdoor exercise equipment, a basketball court and soccer field.
To complement this diverse location, low level lighting (in height and brightness) was deemed the most appropriate, therefore the SBL2 solar lighting bollards were chosen, due to their efficient pathway light output, the reliable all night light with four full nights battery back-up, the extremely high vandal and corrosion resistance, and the strong 10 year warranty. The SBL bollards are certified Australian made and completely submersible IP68.
